Exploro Cycling Club is the engine behind the madness: a small team dedicated to creating raw, authentic adventures across the world.
Based in the Balkans but connected worldwide, we design routes, host races, and build adventures that celebrate landscapes, history, and human resilience.
Our philosophy is simple: designing routes that challenge and inspire, and creating events that turn landscapes into stories. Every climb, every border, every wild descent is part of something bigger.
From the Trans Balkan Race to Montenegro Mountain Madness, from Istra Land to Lael’s Women’s Rallies, we share the same vision — to empower more people to embrace adventure cycling and discover what’s possible on a bike.
Why a cycling club that hosts races and rallies? Because the Balkans — and the places we ride — deserve to be experienced deeply. Because bikepacking changes people. And because we believe that freedom, resilience, and community are worth celebrating, one ride at a time.
At Exploro, we believe that cycling should be open and welcoming to everyone — yet women, trans, and non-binary riders remain underrepresented in ultra-distance and adventure cycling. Changing that is not a side project for us, but a priority.
Our events are among the few in the world organized by women, and this perspective shapes everything we do, from how we design routes to how we tell stories and build community. Through projects like Lael’s Women’s Rallies, and by actively encouraging women’s participation in Istra Land, Montenegro Mountain Madness, and the Trans Balkan Race, we aim to create spaces where riders feel supported, visible, and celebrated.
Representation matters. Every photo, every story, and every finish line helps shift the culture, making cycling more inclusive, more diverse, and more inspiring. For us, women in cycling isn’t just a theme: it’s part of our identity.

Race director, route designer, and storyteller. Bea is the one holding all the strings together, from mapping every climb and descent to shaping the overall rider experience. If you’ve ever wondered who’s behind the long nights of planning and the words that tell the story of our events, that’s Bea.
When she’s not building bikepacking adventures, you’ll find her out riding the routes herself, scribbling notes for the next project, or sneaking in scrambles on rock walls and snow edges. With a PhD in glaciology and microbiology, her background fuels a deep sense of curiosity — the same curiosity that drives every climb, border crossing, and finish line.

Photographer, media editor, and all-around problem solver. Luca is the eye behind the lens and the calm in the storm, turning the madness of long days and wild landscapes into images and films that capture the essence of the races. On and off the road, he’s the one making sure the story of every edition comes alive.
When he’s not documenting bikepacking races, Luca is happiest with a camera in hand, exploring mountain trails, or chasing the perfect shot. As a professional photographer, his work blends creativity and grit, just like the races he brings to life.

Exploro isn’t just us. It’s also a small but dynamic cycling club of riders who share the same spirit. The Club is our playground for adventures big and small: weekend getaways, yearly expeditions, and everything in between. We believe in accessible adventure, in riding not for speed but for discovery, and in sharing honest stories that inspire more people to get out on their bikes.
From fast touring to ultra-distance racing, the Club is where dreams are tested, friendships forged, and adventure mode is always on.
